What branch should I use - main or dev?

For stable deployments: use main. For the latest features and bug fixes (including PostgreSQL-compatible Postman collections): use dev. The team switched the default branch from dev to main in April 2026, so git clone now delivers the main branch. Update (July 24, 2026): the team promoted the dev branch to main for Tazama Release 4.0.0 across all functional, documentation and utility repositories. The main branch will now serve Release 4.0.0, and the dev branch will now serve ongoing development for the next release.
